Fed enacts collective punishment on Minnesota, looming eviction crisis as March draws near

• J.D. Vance enacts a collective economic punishment on Minnesota after ICE brutality. By witholding federal funds, they seek to punish the most vulnerable of our neighbors. This while we’re already doing an investigation ourselves. Recent medicaid cuts may force the closure of HCMC, surving many of Minnesota’s most disadvantaged members.

• “Hundreds” of Federal agents still remain. Locals reported an uptick in ICE activity in the metro after over a week on focusing on the surrounding suburbs. Reportedly, local police cooperated with ICE.

Rent is coming due:

• With esitmates of up to 20% of Minneapolis renters behind rent in the wake of The Surge, calls went out for mutual aid on social media to help cover the costs. March 1st is coming up fast, and still Governal Walz and Mayor Frey can more for landowners then residents.
